She&#8217;s bringing a Manga classic to the big screen.
But playing Major in Ghost In The Shell wasn&#8217;t as simple as just slipping on a costume, with Scarlett Johansson revealing the gruelling toll the role&#8217;s stunts took on her body.
In an interview with The Project on Friday, the 32-year-old actress and the film&#8217;s director Rupert Sanders detailed how Scarlett was forced to say no to &#8216;bacon and eggs&#8217; in favour of beating up bad guys on screen.

The Project&#8217;s Scott Dooley asked the pair what it was like filming the role in 3D with very little physical set.
Scarlett revealed that her body became &#8216;permanently just messed up&#8217; from all the high action stunts.
At some point, your body becomes so conditioned to just being really hard on itself all the time that you kind of get used to being permanently just messed up,&#8217; Scarlett said.

&#8216;While we were all having bacon and eggs and baked beans, she was lifting weights and beating up military guys and stuff,&#8217; Rupert added.
&#8216;Breakfast of champions,&#8217; the actress quipped, causing Scott to joke: &#8216;Put the marine down!&#8217;

But the actress rubbished the claims, arguing her character was &#8216;identity-less&#8217; in an interview with Good Morning America on Friday.
&#8216;I would never attempt to play a person of a different race, obviously,&#8217; she said.  &#8216;Hopefully, any question that comes up of my casting will be answered by audiences when they see the film.&#8217;
