Justice League 2 hasn&#8217;t been confirmed and a sequel to 2017&#8217;s Justice League doesn&#8217;t seem likely to happen any time soon, despite the Justice League themselves being referred to in recent DC releases Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Charles Roven, DC&#8217;s longtime producer, shared his hopes that he&#8217;d be involved in another Justice League movie back in August 2021. However, he noted that any potential sequel would be a &#8220;number of years away&#8221;.

Zack Snyder was even less sure about a follow-up to Justice League, even after his version of the film was released on HBO Max in March 2021. He also claimed that Warner Bros has been &#8220;aggressively anti-Snyder&#8221;, meaning it seems unlikely that a sequel would be greenlit. Snyder&#8217;s cut of Justice League ended on a &#8220;massive cliffhanger&#8221;, as he promised fans it would, which obviously leads to more Justice League films as per the original studio plan. All of that, however, feels like dust in the wind at this point.
