Notoriously private about her mom-life, Scarlett Johansson is opening up about how she parents her daughter at meal times.
The 36-year-old star discussed how she&#8217;s made eating healthy not seem like &#8216;a chore&#8217; for six-year-old Rose Dorothy &#8211; whom she shares with her ex-husband &#8211; in a new interview with People.
Scarlett recently partnered with the company HumanCo on their brand of grain-free organic pizza bites, Snow Day.

&#8216;It&#8217;s funny, but I think I never really had to trick her into eating healthy,&#8217; Scarlett said of her daughter&#8217;s eating habits.
&#8216;I think [it&#8217;s best] just letting kids discover food that way without making it feel like a chore,&#8217; she continued, adding that she&#8217;s using the same &#8216;one bite rule&#8217; that her own mom used with her when she was little.
The Marvel star went on to explain that she&#8217;s really not a stickler at meal times and wants Rose to figure out her tastes on her own.
&#8216;Everybody has a different palate. I&#8217;ve never tried to force my kid to eat anything she didn&#8217;t like, and I never tried to hide any foods from her because I was trying to pack in an extra carrot,&#8217; the bombshell said.

&#8216;I&#8217;m just like, &#8220;If you don&#8217;t like carrots, you don&#8217;t have to eat them.&#8221; But just offer a variety as much as possible,&#8217; Scarlett continued. &#8216;And then I think, as you get older your palate develops, and you get out of those habits.&#8217;
Scarlett shares Rose with her ex-husband, advertising executive, Romain Dauriac. The pair began dating in 2012 but were split by 2016 after welcoming their daughter two years prior.
Following their divorce, Scarlett began a relationship with her now husband Colin Jost.
A new trailer for Scarlett&#8217;s upcoming superhero film Black Widow was released on Marvel Entertainment&#8217;s official YouTube channel last Saturday.

The forthcoming feature was helmed by Berlin Syndrome director Cate Shortland and chronologically takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War.
Black Widow is set to make its debut in theaters and on the Disney+ streaming service on July 9th.
