Back in 2021, when Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were still dating, they decided to have some fun with a rope climbing race. Owens had a pretty clear advantage; he’s 1 foot 3 inches taller and weighs over twice as much as Simone, but he still lost by a big margin. After the race, he admitted, “I had you about three-fourths of the way… I just — I burned out.” But honestly, with Simone’s track record of dominating in everything she does, especially with those 11 Olympic medals, it’s not surprising that Owens couldn’t keep up. At the time, they were still a new couple, enjoying each other’s company and having fun together.
