Anne Hathaway&#8217;s recent red carpet appearance in Shanghai, China, proves she is all in for Princess Diaries 3. The actress dazzled in a strapless gold gown from Oscar de la Renta at a Bvlgari event on January 8. Her look was complemented by a stunning yellow gold Bvlgari Serpenti necklace adorned with numerous gemstones.

Hathaway&#8217;s accessories were a supporting act to her stunning gold ballgown, which sparkled under the camera lights. The strapless gown featured a sculpted silhouette with an ankle-length A-line skirt. She completed her look with a princess-worthy up-do and light, pink-toned makeup.

Although no release date has been set for Princess Diaries 3, Hathaway confirmed her return back in October when Disney announced the franchise&#8217;s revival. She is currently the only original cast member to comment on the sequel. Last April, Hathaway shared that &#8220;we’re in a good place&#8221; regarding the film&#8217;s progress.

Adele Lim, known for Crazy Rich Asians and Joy Ride, will direct the sequel, taking over from the original director Garry Marshall, who passed away in 2016. Lim expressed her excitement, stating, “As a diehard fan of the original Princess Diaries, I’m beyond excited to be a part of bringing the third iteration of this beloved franchise to life.”
