Every few years, Anne Hathaway catches the internet&#8217;s attention for one thing only: how she just doesn&#8217;t seem to age. Almost routinely, images will pop up of her from, say, 2006, and her seen ten years later, and it always leaves users online baffled.

It seems to be indigestible for many that she somehow maintains her youthfulness, save for an extra wrinkle or two. The internet has since begun theorizing that she may even be a vampire. I mean, the evidence is undeniable. How DO you maintain your youthful look despite being well into your 40s?

Users react to Anne Hathaway apparently aging in reverse with shock, claiming her being a vampire is the only explanation.

Users online agree that she hasn&#8217;t aged a day, though many have their own theories about just why that may be:

Users online were visibly baffled over how Anne Hathaway could be in her 40s, with some even joking that this is what you get when you&#8217;re an &#8220;unproblematic queen.&#8221; Some users even pointed out that she somehow &#8220;keeps getting prettier by age,&#8221; demanding that it even be &#8220;studied.&#8221;

Given that she&#8217;s only in her 40s, it remains to be seen if the Princess Diaries alum does end up looking like a silver fox even in her 80s, though, at the rate she&#8217;s aging, it seems highly plausible. As for if it&#8217;s because she&#8217;s a vampire or simply just minds her own business&#8230; the jury&#8217;s still out. What do you think it could be?
